Upcoming Neo Geo Homebrew 'Crouching Pony Hidden Dragon' Gets Release Date In Developer Interview

Crouching-Pony-Hidden-Dragon-Neo-Geo-Homebrew-Release-DateJust under a year ago it was announced that an all new title following in the footsteps of Shock Troopers and Ninja Commando would soon be hitting the Neo Geo AES and MVS in 2013. Crouching Pony Hidden Dragon, as it is known, has just been given a release date along with the announcement that only 250 copies will be produced.

In Le Cortex's latest video, the homebrew developers go on to discuss the ins and outs of creating all new titles for classic consoles by making the most of modern technology. Throughout the video are countless snippets of the development process, gameplay footage and detailed discussions on the upcoming release, along with several unusual appearances from certain comic book heroes.

Towards the end of the video, the Le Cortex team go on to announce that the all new Neo Geo AES and MVS homebrew title will be released later this year in December. Until then, be sure to check out the interview below and the latest gameplay trailer of Crouching Pony Hidden Dragon.

I don't like the look for this game at all, and the fact it'll costs £100's confirms in my mind that i'll give this a pass... Shock Trooper series is much better graphically in my opinion...

Yeah, gotta say whilst I admire the attempt, the term "homebrew" is particularly applicable here.
Amateurish graphics and animation; doesn't really float my boat I'm afraid.
