Unreleased Super Nintendo Comicbook Game ‘Shadowhawk’ Due For Physical Release This Year

Shadowhawk-SNES-Prototype-Due-For-Reproduction-RunFollowing on from a year packed to the brim with unreleased video games surfacing and being preserved in ROM format, it would appear that yet another missing 16-bit title is due to be made available. Rose Colored Gaming appear to have obtained a prototype copy of Shadowhawk for the Super Nintendo, something they’re gearing up for a physical release later this year.

Based upon the Image Comics character of the same name, as it stands very little is known about Shadowhawk for the Super Nintendo. With just a mere few screenshots surfacing online from old magazine scans, it would appear the game was due to be a 2D beat ‘em up and platformer combined featuring the many characters and heroes from the franchise.

Rose Colored Gaming, better known for their luxurious custom consoles and handhelds, recently shared a sneak peek of some cartridge shells in production for an ‘upcoming game’. As they rightly put it, Shadowhawk doesn’t exist anywhere online nor has a ROM of the game been preserved. Rose Coloured Gaming are yet to confirm prices for a physical copy of Shadowhawk, but those interested in getting their hands on some long lost Super Nintendo action should keep a close eye on their Facebook page for further updates.

Thanks for keeping us in the homebrew etc. loop Cauterize. I know it's not retro but would you consider also keeping us up to date with limited-run modern releases like Class of Heroes 2 and the ultra-limited physical release of Retro City Rampage for the PS4? They're not retro but they're going to be srsly collectible.

As much as I'd love to, I'll put my hands up and admit I'm clueless about them and just don't have enough free time to write up non-retro news.

Shadowhawk was an Image comics character. It was never used as a Marvel comics character.

Is this game 100% complete? RCG has little to say about it they they want to ask just under $150? Are we ordering a glorified demo or a beta with bugs?
