2011 seems to be the year for unreleased games surfacing. With Geist Force around the corner and countless other community releases, it should be no surprise Major Damage for the Sega Saturn has now appeared online.
Major Damage was set to arrive on the Saturn, however Capcom ended up pitching their latest game to Sony as Sega discontinued their system during the game’s development. Sony unfortunately refused the pitch, due to a striking resemblance to Blasto on the PlayStation, leaving Major Damage to sit in the unreleased vault.
While the prototype which has surfaced is far from complete, there is more than enough on the disc to be enjoying if you’re into unreleased games.

Sega Saturn’s Lost Games Recovery Program who have kindly released the game have also provided mockup scans and artwork too for those wanting to place the game on their shelves.
