Unreleased Buzz & Waldog (Nintendo NES) Reproduction Cartridge

Buzz-and-Waldo-Unreleased-Nintendo-NES-Reproduction-CartridgeBuzz & Waldog was an unlicensed Nintendo NES game developed in Korea, set to be brought to the US in the mid 90s. Many gamers will tell you it's the best unlicensed game on the NES to date.

Koko Adventure, as it is known in Korea, sadly never arrived in the US or Europe, but a prototype managed to slip out of testing. It was preserved and became widely available online, receiving a rather impressive reception. The developers Open Production also planned to bring The Dinosaur Dooley, another unlicensed and unreleased Sega Master System game to the US, which also suffered the same fate as Buzz & Waldog.

Should you get the chance to either play the leaked/preserved ROM, or invest in a reproduction cartridge, you won't be disapointed. The quality of this game rather surprising considering the usual standard of unlicensed games. From the minute you boot this one up, the bright visuals and tight controls have you question why it really was cancelled.

Buzz & Waldog can be bought from RetroUSB in cartridge form. Coming in either clear blue or classic grey cartridge, it's a game worth of slotting in your collection between Burai FIghter and California Games.

Looks good fun. I haven't got a NES but want to play this. Has the ROM been dumped?
