Unofficial Sequel To Microcomputer Classic 'Bruce Lee' Released

Bruce-Lee-IIIn 1984 an iconic immortalisation of one of the finest martial-arts fighters arrived via Datasoft Inc on the range of then available home computers. The Bruce Lee video game was well received and to this day has held up to become one of the best home computer releases to date - so much so an unofficial sequel to the title has just arrived.

Homebrew developer Bruno R. Marcos recently released his latest creation via his blog, picking up where Ron J Fortier left off all those years ago. Similar to the original release, Bruce Lee II is also a side scrolling platform-come-beat 'em up hybrid putting you up against countless chambers of skilled fighters and troublesome platforms.

Although this all new release may not run on the range of microcomputers its prequel started off on, the legacy of the original is clearly visible. This PC homebrew title not only features the timeless retro look, but also the ability to switch between either an Amstrad CPC or Commodore 64 colour scheme.
