Treasure Bringing 'Ikaruga' To PC Via Steam Greenlight

Ikaruga-Steam-GreenlightOriginally released back in 2001 in the arcades, Ikaruga has since become a cult classic after being ported to the Sega Dreamcast and Nintendo GameCube. As of recent Treasure have brought the scrolling shooter over to touchscreen devices and are now looking towards Steam Greenlight to gift PC gamers this fantastic title.

Ikaruga has been submitted to Steam Greenlight, allowing users to vote whether or not they'd like to see this frantic polarity shooter on the digital distribution service. Its arrival on Steam, however, is inevitable - as of speaking the game's Greenlight page has seen well over 1,000 comments from users with many discussing how they'd buy this title in a heartbeat.

It's worth noting that this upcoming PC version may well be the next closest thing to enjoying Ikaruga on the original arcade hardware. With the ability to easy rotate PC monitors into portrait mode, gamers can look forward to enjoying border-free gameplay, 'tated.
