Touchscreen Sensation Flappy Bird Soars Onto Nintendo Game Boy

Flappy-Bird-on-Nintendo-GameBoyOkay, so we have just one more snippet of news to share about that highly addictive mobile game before we say enough is enough! Having now starred on countless home computers and retro consoles thanks to homebrew ports, Flappy Bird is now soaring back onto a handheld device - the Nintendo Game Boy.

This all new homebrew of the simple, yet difficult to master, touchscreen title comes via a YouTube user who recently released his efforts through the video uploading site. Launching with a gameplay video, a ROM of FB-GB -as it's known - was made available to download in the video's description for free.

Given how familiar we've become with the game itself, all we have to say about the Nintendo Game Boy port of Flappy Bird is that it works just as well as the mobile version. If you've recently invested in the new Everdrive GB flash cartridge, be sure to wing this ROM onto it and check it out.

Unbelievably, this is even harder than the original. I can't even get 10. Bloody annoying - just like the original.
