Homebrew Developers Behind Sega Mega Drive 'Oh Mummy' Release ROM Online For Free Download

The-Team-Behind-Sega-Mega-Drive-Homebrew-Oh-Mummy-Release-ROM-Online-For-Free-DownloadAfter having successfully sold out of their impressive Sega Mega Drive homebrew title, the team behind Oh Mummy have decided to make their work accessible to all. As of today you can now download a ROM of 1985 Alternativo's Oh Mummy via their sister site Fase Bonus.

If you unfortunately missed out on this homemade offering, 1985 Alternativo recreated the Amstrad CPC classic of the same name last year. This update of the 1984 title not only featured updated visuals and a newly introduced story, but also the original game for those feeling nostalgic. But if that wasn't enough already, a physical release of the game was made available featuring authentic Mega Drive style artwork.

On Fase Bonus's blog, a post was recently published in Spanish documenting the game's development alongside the trials and tribulations of creating a physical release. At the bottom of this post you'll also find a link to an official and legal torrent file containing a ROM of Oh Mummy.

Why would you release homebrew to piratebay? A tracker banned by most of the major ISPs in the US thanks to the 6 strikes rule. Why not just put it on a file hosting site?

Why oh why indeed - plus, as it's having to rely on seeders, it's taking me over an hour to download 1mb.
