Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 30th Anniversary Custom Painted Nintendo NES Console

Custom-TMNT-NES-Console-for-30th-AnniversaryTo even think that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles debuted three decades ago this year will no doubt make you feel old. As retro gamers though, we’re used to such birthdays with both Sonic and Mario also celebrating big numbers too. With this in mind, several members of the community have taken pizza time to the next level with their stunning (and functional) custom Nintendo NES console.

Now sporting a bright white outer case and a Raphael red stripe, this Nintendo NES modification is exactly what the limited edition console should have been all those years ago. The upper side of the console also features a unique inset featuring pixel art of the Turtles line-up, one illuminated through a backlight which also shines through the system’s cartridge loading bay.

If that wasn’t enough already, the trio behind this luxurious console have also created four custom control pads, each branded up differently for a different turtle. As you’d expected, we’re shellshocked by both the design and effort placed into this modification - one we’d love to be hosting gaming nights on.
