Super Meat Boy will be meeting Xbox Live Arcade as well as WiiWare

Don't you love a good meaty news story? Okay, enough with the jokes.

The highly anticipated Flash to Modern Console conversion of Super Meat Boy has finally been confirmed for a release on XBLA earlier today.

The indie scene is alive! With the arrival of Xbox Live, WiiWare and the Playstation Network, talented developers finally have a medium to unleash their work to.

Following a similar trend to VVVVVV, Super Meat Boy started life as a flash game. Having recieved such a positive response, it inevitably took the leap to becoming reborn on the modern consoles.

Super Meat Boy is currently set for release on WiiWare & Xbox Live Arcade in Q1 2010. An exact release date is currently unknown. Rumours are also in the air that the Meat team is currently working on a Playstation 3 version too.

Until then, check out this promotion video of the upcoming title
