Super Mario World Central Release Collaborative 86 Level Super Nintendo ROM Hack

Super-Mario-World-Central-7th-Annual-Competition-HackIf you've beaten Super Mario World over and over again, you'll no doubt be craving some all new adventures to plunge our beloved red plumber into. With countless fan made alternatives out there, it's often hard to know where to start. The biggest Super Mario World hacking community online, however, may have the answer for you - 86 entries from their 7th annual competition for brand new levels combined into one.

If we've already lost you, Super Mario World Central is a website where talented ROM hackers upload patches containing their modifications to the Super Nintendo classic. These downloadable alterations to Super Mario World (and the other games the site supports) can be then applied to a ROM file, and enjoyed through emulation - or on a flash cartridge should the hack support the original hardware.

With so many users contributing new adventures to the site over the years, Super Mario World Central have been holding competitions to find the most enjoyable and boundary pushing levels around. This year marks their seventh competition yet, one where the organisers have decided to roll all of the entries into one ROM hack. This not only features some of the most impressive level designs ever seen in Super Mario World, but also several questionable ones too.

As usual, to enjoy this fan translation patch you will need to have an original Super Mario World Nintendo SNES ROM file to which you can apply this patch to. Full instructions on how to patch this ROM can be found within the download, or you can refer to this handy ROM patching guide on YouTube.
