The newly arriving Super Mario Unlimited however redefines the term ROM hacking and sets a high standard for those to come.

"Another Mario ROM hack? It's been done before a thousand times over!". Maybe so, however this new addition to the growing selection of Mario hacks has out stepped the expected boundaries by introducing something spectacular. While most of these existing ROM hacks tend to stick to the assets already available, Super Mario Unlimited expands upon Super Mario Bros by introducing a Super Mario Bros 3 graphical style, 40 new levels, a selection of new power-ups, additional music and much much more.

Amazing hack! Have been playing it on my real nes with the PowerPak.. I especially love the leveldesign, its so well designed and fun to play! I also love that the creator has removed the lives system, you now have unlimited lives and when you collect 100 coins you instead get the starpower. After playing it i must say its really good, almost better than the original SMB.. almost :)
