Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels now on Wii U Virtual Console

Super-Mario-Bros-The-Lost-Levels-Nintendo-Wii-UMore commonly known as Super Mario Bros 2 in Japan, this incredibly tough title deemed too difficult for Western gamers has since graced European and American territories several times over. Arriving on the Super Nintendo in Super Mario All-Stars in 1993, the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console in 2008 and the 3DS in 2012, this iconic title has finally been re-released for the Wii U Virtual Console.

Although many of us will have at least tried to tackle this challenging title once before, being able to experience it on the big (and little) screen once more is going to be tough to turn down. While Nintendo have given this retro classic the pocket price of £4.49, those who previously picked up this title on the Nintendo Wii can look forward to updating to this version instead for just £0.99.
