Super Game Boy Compatibility Confirmed For Krikzz's Upcoming Nintendo Game Boy Everdrive Flash Cart

Game-Boy-Everdrive-On-Super-Game-BoyBack in November Krikzz finally announced that he was working on the highly anticipated Game Boy Everdrive flash cartridge. Despite remaining rather quiet since then, it would appear development on this SD-card enabled cartridge has been progressing rather well following a sneak peek photograph which recently surfaced on Twitter.

If the attraction of storing the entire Game Boy library of ROMs on a single cartridge wasn’t enough already, Krikzz’s most recently tweeted image goes on to suggest that efforts have been made to ensure the device also works on the Super Game Boy.

Although the shared image only displays the cartridge booting up on the Super Game Boy, we’re very much hoping that Krikzz will implement compatibility with the Super Nintendo add-on’s game-specific colour enhancements and custom borders.

We still remain without a release date for this must-have piece of kit, but as soon as it becomes available we’ll let you know.

Didn't he mention SGB compatibility would be present in the initial announcement? Pretty sure he did.
