Super Fighter Team’s Brand New Mega Drive Releases ‘Magic Girl’ and ‘Cascade’ Out Now On Cartridge

Magic-Girl-and-CascadeSuper Fighter Team who previously brought us the likes of Beggar Prince and Legend of Wukong are back with two more titles for the Mega Drive. Although announced over the last few years, both Magic Girl and Cascade are finally available to buy for Sega’s 16-bit juggernaut.

The first of these two impressive releases, Magic Girl, is a Taiwanese scrolling shooter which was originally released back in 1993. Having remained an obscure and elusive shmup for the system, Super Fighter Team managed to secure the rights to translate and re-release the game to the rest of the world. Taking control of Ling Ling, your task is to save the planet through several stages of colourful craziness and Parodius-style enemies.

Cascade on the other hand is a rather interesting title, one which was originally due to hit Japan during the 90s. Developed by Epyx, this intergalactic dice puzzler features an interesting style, however, it’s gameplay and mechanics are yet to be known given the only media out there right now is a single screenshot.

Both of these games can be purchase on a brand new Mega Drive cartridge, coming with their very own box and manual. Each game costs $65, including international shipping from Super Fighter Team directly.
