Super Famicom Exclusive Hybrid RPG 'JoJo's Bizarre Adventure' Translated Into English

Super-Famicom-Exclusive-Hybrid-RPG-JoJos-Bizarre-Adventure-Translated-Into-EnglishBased upon the hugely popular Sh?nen Jump manga series written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure arrived on the Super Nintendo in 1993 courtesy of WinkySoft and Cobra Team. Despite being a fantastic hybrid blend of RPG / Point 'n Click genres, this innovative title remained a Eastern exclusive - one which has just been fan translated.

Instead of using the traditional top down view to deliver this RPG's storyline, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (aka JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken) uses a unique 3rd person system which has you venturing in and out of locations, enjoying everything they have to offer in a faux-three-dimensional environment. The battle scenes use the same viewpoint, however, rely on the more familiar battle systems we've grown to love over the years.

Fans of the manga series will feel right at home with this adventure, given it allows gamers to indulge in a much slower paced offering than Capcom's arcade beat 'em up released in 1998.

A downloadable English patch for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure can now be found at both the creator's website and ROMHacking.net. As usual, to enjoy this fan translation patch you will need to have an original JoJo's Bizarre Adventure ROM file to which you can apply this patch to. Full instructions on how to patch this ROM can be found within the download, or you can refer to this handy ROM patching guide on YouTube.
