While we were only just getting round to enjoying the ROM of the unreleased Dragon's Lair (Sega Mega Drive), the next release from the Summer of Protos team has arrived. USA Bowling by Japanese developer Coconuts Japan is their latest offering which can be downloaded for free from their release thread.
Despite costing MrMark0673 and Beaglepuss around the $300 mark, the prototype owners have once more offered retro gamers worldwide the chance to enjoy previously unpreserved gaming history.
USA Bowling is the cancelled American version of the Japanese Nintendo Famicom game known as Perfect Bowling. The ROM releasers have confirmed the game code offers a fair few differences from the retail Japanese version, which are yet to be confirmed.
