Square Enix Announce 'Final Fantasy VII G-Bike' For iOS / Android

Final-Fantasy-VII-G-Bike-AnnouncedOne of the greatest things about being a retro gamer whilst E3 is under way is that there is almost always the guarantee that one of our favourite titles of yesteryear will be getting the remake treatment. Although most of us will be hoping for Final Fantasy VII, we'll never turn our noses up at some of the Gold Saucer mini-games hitting mobile platforms.

Originally announced in Famitsu magazine this month, Square Enix are currently working on Final Fantasy VII G-Bike for release this Autumn. This iOS and Android title is a remake of the Crazy Motorcycle scene found in Final Fantasy VII, an energetic and refreshing break from the game's frequent battles and dialogue.

This remake, however, isn't just a visual update. Going by Square Enix's newly launched E3 trailer for the game, Final Fantasy VII G-Bike has revitalised the 1997 mini-game to feature brand new mechanics, familiar bosses from the original game and much more.

While little else is known as of yet, the trailer for Final Fantasy VII G-Bike leaves fans of the title desperately wanting more. Furthermore it has been suggested that Square Enix are also considering gifting the other Gold Saucer mini-games a revitalisation too - but more on that later.
