Space Pinball - An Early Demo Version Of Galactic Pinball For The Nintendo Virtual Boy Leaked Online

space-pinball-an-early-demo-version-of-galactic-pinball-for-the-nintendo-virtual-boy-leaked-onlineDuring Nintendo’s trade show in 1994 and CES in 1995, the Virtual Boy was demonstrated alongside a small handful of technical demos and unfinished games. Amongst these games was an early version of Galactic Pinball titled up as Space Pinball, a demo which has been leaked and preserved online.

With such a small library of games available to the Nintendo Virtual Boy, the hint of any unfinished game code and prototype cartridges being found has the community jumping with joy. Space Pinball is not the first unreleased Virtual Boy game to have surfaced in the last few years, as the promising unreleased title Bound High also appeared online.

The ROM of Space Pinball is a rather impressive arrival due to the sheer amount of differences in comparison to the retail release of Galactic Pinball. Not only does the game feature different menu screens and interface elements within, but each and every pinball table used within the game is no where to be found in the finished product.

If you’re one of the few who are lucky enough to own a FlashBoy Virtual Boy Flash Cartridge, be sure to check out Space Pinball on the original hardware as soon as you can. Failing that the ROM of Space Pinball can be enjoyed using Virtual Boy emulators.
