Sneak Peek At This Month's Upcoming Retro Gamer Magazine #114

Sneak-Peek-At-This-Months-Upcoming-Retro-Gamer-Magazine-114It's that time of month again where we finally wind up our control pad cords and face the great outdoors. Retro Gamer Magazine is set to hit the shops, with yet another birthday to celebrate. The laserdisc arcade-romp, Dragon's Lair, is celebrating its 30th birthday, giving our favourite publication the perfect excuse to indulge in Drik and Daphne.

Where we'll be turning to first though, is the large feature on the evolution of the platformer genre. These pages are set to discuss the iconic running-and-jumping gameplay with several key developers chirping in regarding their involvement in the genre over the last 33 years

Elsewhere in the magazine the world's best selling console, the Sony PlayStation 2, takes centre stage in a full blown tribute, whilst the definite 20 PC games are also given a good looking. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Bizarre Creations, No More Heroes, Bubsy In Clawed Encounters Of The Furred Kind, Deathchase, Kirby's Dream Course and Wave Race 64 also feature this month, making it quite the issue.
