Sneak Peek At This Month's Retro Gamer Magazine #115

sneak-peek-at-this-months-retro-gamer-magazine-115If for whatever reason you picked up EA's recent return to Sim City, or would rather indulge in Maxis's now tainted past, this month's Retro Gamer magazine has something in store for you. The latest issue of our favourite publication sits down with the city simulator's creator Will Wright shortly before jumping into more classic gaming adventures.

Other developers involved with the Sim City franchise are also set to chip in their experiences with the series - hopefully providing further insight into the classics which still hold up today. Further into the magazine fans of the scrolling shooter are in for a treat with Retro Gamer's 30 Essential Shoot-’em-ups - an article featuring input from both Jeff Minter and Andrew Braybrook.

Elsewhere in the magazine the history of home computers from the seventies is given a closer look, Indiana Jones's earlier titles are explored, various gaming launch disasters are detailed and Interceptor Software are given the limelight. The Mega CD, F-Zero, Adventure, Chase H.Q., Stuart Ross, Marvel Land, Ico, The New Zealand Story, Chris Huelsbeck and Klax also feature this month, offering more than enough reading.
