Although we only just featured the unofficial K1 GBA Game Boy Advance clone in a recent news post, the team behind the handheld have come forward with an updated version of the device known as the Revo K101 GBA. This new version of the handheld features everything the last one did, plus the addition of better controls and form factor.
Those familiar with emulation devices may see similarities between the Revo K101 GBA and the Gemei MPS A330. This is because the revised handheld is making use of the old emulation handheld's case, albeit a few changes. According to the creators, this model features much improved controls on the original, so much so they've uploaded a video to YouTube to demonstrate this.
One other tiny addition, although huge to some is the addition of RTC (Real Time Clock) functionality to the device. This is what's needed to run the time based events in the Pokemon Game Boy Advance titles, making the games fully playable on the unofficial hardware. All that's missing now is a solar sensor to run Konami's sun-catching RPG series, Boktai.
