Shigeru Miyamoto Debunks Super Mario Bros Myths & Legends

Mario-Myths-with-MiyamotoOver the years we’ve seen a wide range of theories, ideas and suggestions to fill in the various gaps in the Super Mario Bros world. From fierce debates over coin blocks being punched or headbutted, to the screenshot on the 1985 game’s box supposedly depicting Mario’s demise, Shigeru Miyamoto has taken to YouTube to put the lid on these never ending myths.

As part of the upcoming Super Mario Bros 30th Anniversary, Nintendo have been flooding our social media timelines with fantastic anecdotes and memories of the long-lasting series. As a result we’ve all been getting carried away with the pixel perfect platformer once more, and rightly so with the latest title in the Mario timeline - Super Mario Maker - due for release in the next few days.
