Shadow of The Beast Reboot Heading To PlayStation 4

Shadow-of-The-Beast-RebootFor over two decades Reflections Interactive's parallax-happy Shadow of the Beast series has been lurking in the depths awaiting a much deserved return. Fans of the Commodore Amiga originals will be pleased to hear that Aarbron's adventures are due to resume following Sony's recent Gamescom reveal of a teaser trailer showcasing the game's upcoming PlayStation 4 revival.

This new offering in the once-Psygnosis published series, however, is set to leave behind its gorgeous two dimensional offerings and look towards a more God Of War styled approach in both visuals and gameplay. That said, according to the game's developer Heavy Spectrum, this Shadow of the Beast reboot is apparently taking place in the same universe as the previous titles with the same aim of overthrowing Maletoth.

Until more information about this highly anticipated return surfaces, indulge in the game's graphic trailer below.

If this is a PS4 exclusive, then I am pretty much sold!

PS - It's hard for me to believe that any house besides Psygnosis can pull this off, so don't screw it up
PPS - make sure the music is good, none of this generic orchestral garbage

Thank you!
