Sega Set To Celebrate Virtua Fighter's 20th Anniversary

Virtua-Fighter-20th-Anniversary-MicrositeThe very thought that a Sega Saturn and Arcade classic has reached its 20th birthday is a sobering thought. Having spanned countless releases on many consoles, Sega is now looking towards celebrating Virtua Fighter's history and has opened an all new website dedicated to the anniversary.

While there is almost next to nothing present on this newly opened microsite other than a YouTube video of the first game's intro, we are certain that more content will be populating the page in no time. With this December marking two decades passing since the game's début, it's going to be interesting from here on to see whether or not Sega also make more of the occasion with a HD re-release or collection of the original titles.

Keep your eyes open for Akira, Kage and Pai's antics over the coming weeks.
