When will ATGames stop? The Sega Megadrive has been squashed down again, into an even smaller than before console-come-arcade-stick with a selection of built in games. The pocket console also comes at a pocket price, ready to be the perfect stocking filler this Christmas.
ATGames have already brought us many iterations of the Sega Megadrive clones this year, featuring ones housed in arcade sticks, Sonic heads and portable ones capable of reading ROMs from an SD card. So the arrival of this addition should come as no surprise.
The miniature arcade stick console comes in three variations, each featuring a different set of games. The first set is branded with Sonic the Hedgehog and preloaded with Sonic The Hedgehog 1, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Sonic Spinball, Sonic 3D Flickies Island and Alex Kidd in the Enchanted world. The second set is a Columns branded console, featuring Columns, Columns III, Flicky, Dr Robotniks Mean Bean Machine and Arrow Flash. And finally the third set is a Virtua Fighter console, preloaded with Virtua Fighter 2, Golden Axe, Shinobi III, Golden Axe III and Alien Storm.
