Sega Mega Drive Inspired Mega-Bit Action Figures Hit Kickstarter

Mega-Bit-Sega-Mega-Drive-Cartridge-Figures-On-KickstarterNow joining the Mega Drive Megatron is another articulated celebration of Sega’s console - the Mega-Bit. Currently on Kickstarter a toy designer is raising funds to create a range of action figures based upon the Mega Drive’s memorable 16-bit cartridge design, something which is also due to be officially licensed by Sega.

Standing 4.5" tall and 7" wide featuring designs utilising the labels of Sonic The Hedgehog, Altered Beast, Golden Axe, and the Revenge of Shinobi, those wanting their own characterised Mega-Bit cartridge will need to invest $35 into this on-going Kickstarter.

With the aim of raising $30,000 to get this project off the ground, toy designer Nate Mitchell has just about hit the halfway mark, with around 200 of these figures already claimed. There are also some Kickstarter exclusive designs up for grabs too, including one set to celebrate the Sega Mega Drive’s 25th anniversary.
