Sculptures Of DMA Design's Lemmings Take Over Dundee

Lemmings-SculpturesIn 1991 DMA Design unleashed a flurry of adorable critters into the gaming world known as Lemmings - and little did they know they would soon become a huge success worth celebrating. Given that this classic creation hails from the city of Dundee, the local council has immortalised these pixelated beings in the form of Seabraes sculptures.

Situated just a mere few hundred yards from the old DMA Design offices, these Lemmings sculptures manage to capture the charm and essence of the original game whilst climbing around their real life environments. Although there is only a trio of them, each one of these metallic beings adopts one of the various poses from within the game with style.

While DMA Design may no longer be around in their purest form (given that they have since been bought out and changed to Rockstar Games), we're sure the geniuses behind the iconic title are delighted to see their work conquering their local city.

Amazing! Not only is it a surprisingly fitting tribute to a legendary game, but they look fantastic and are really well made.
