Revival Studios Release Homebrew Mayhem For The Philips Videopac And Magnavox Odyssey2 Systems

Revival-Studios-Release-Homebrew-Mayhem-For-The-Philips-Videopac-And-Magnavox-Odyssey2-SystemsPhilips Videopac and Magnavox Odyssey2 can no longer complain that their beloved systems are lacking a homebrew scene as Revival Studios return with yet another release. Mayhem is their second game to be made available this month, offering frantic arcade gameplay combined with their now trademark online functionality.

According to the product page on the Revival Studios homepage, Mayhem finds Wizzy the wizard being chased by countless wood which he failed to burn, whilst attempting to gather as many discarded coins as possible. Sounds mad, right!? That said, we do have the likes of Dynamite Headdy and Mr Bones which are equally as confusing...

Like their last release, Astro Dodge, Mayhem features an online highscore leaderboard hosted on the Revival Studios website which can be updated with the high scores you accumulate after each gameplay session.

Named after me! Okay, maybe not quite. But as I know Martijn quite well, I do wonder if it's an influence :P
