Revival-Studios-Release-Homebrew-Colorclash-For-The-Philips-Videopac-And-Magnavox-Odyssey2-SystemsMagnavox Odyssey2 and Philips Videopac collectors take note, Revival Studios who previously brought us two new homebrew releases for these systems, Mayhem and Astro Dodge, are back with a new hit. Colorclash is their latest offering, making the best use of the dated hardware available.

Colorclash is in fact a port of a much earlier Revival Studios game for the Vectrex of the same name. With countless different coloured gems falling down from outer space, it's up to you to control your ship and fire back matching coloured symbols to destroy them. Easier said than done!

Similar to their other releases, Colorclash will also be making the most of the online highscore functionality, allowing you to compete with other Magnavox Odyssey2 and Philips Videopac gamers around the world.

And as usual, Revival Studios have taken utmost care and precision in providing a stunning item fit to sit in any retro game collection. Arriving in a repilca cartridge case, housing a full colour insert, manual and cartridge label, this is one game which can slot into your Magnavox Odyssey2 and Philips Videopac collection effortlessly.

Don't wait around though, this release is limited to just 100 physical copies!

Revival Studios Colorclash Press Release

Revival Studios has just released a new game for the Philips Videopac and Magnavox Odyssey2 called: Colorclash.

In Colorclash, the player has to shoot the various colored gems that are falling down from the top of the screen. The gems are marked with symbols and the player has to match up the symbol on his ship with the symbol on the gems. The speed of the game will gradually increase, but by strategically shooting the right gems the player can have 4 of the same gems on screen at once. Upon shooting 4 similar gems in a row, the speed of the game will decrease and the player will be rewarded extra points.

Game features:

  • Playable on Videopac and Odyssey2 consoles
  • High resolution background on Videopac+ consoles
  • Digitized speech using The voice add-on
  • Internet highscore uploading
  • Online rewards system

The game is available for purchase and comes with a cartridge, manual and indexcard. A videopac case is available upon request.
