Revival Studios Release Homebrew 'Cavity' For The Philips Videopac And Magnavox Odyssey2 Systems

Revival-Studios-Release-Homebrew-Cavity-For-The-Philips-Videopac-And-Magnavox-Odyssey2-SystemsIf you haven't already checked out what the homebrew guru's Revival Studios have brought to the dated Philips Videopac and Magnavox Odyssey2 hardware, then you're in for a treat. The talented developers have once again pushed the 34 year old system to its upper limits in their all new fast paced flyer; Cavity.

The aim of Cavity is quite simple: guide your trusty spacecraft through narrow winding passages and cavities, while navigating the increasingly difficult routes and increased speed thrown into your path. Easier said than done. Revival Studios have once again decided to take the high score challenge style of gameplay by also enabling Cavity as one of their flagship online leader board titles.

The game features an impressive (by Philips Videopac and Magnavox Odyssey2 standards) high resolution title screen on Videopac+ consoles, a multicolor background and cave, digitized speech using The voice add-on, the previously mentioned Internet high score functionality coupled with an online rewards system.

This homebrew release is limited to just 100 physical copies, meaning Philips Videopac and Magnavox Odyssey2 enthusiasts will have to act fast if they hope to secure yet another masterpiece from Revival Studios.
