Revival-Studios-Release-Homebrew-Astro-Dodge-For-The-Philips-Videopac-And-Magnavox-Odyssey2-SystemsRapid asteroid dodging action combined with online leaderboards and trophies, surely this is a new release for the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360? Wrong! Astro Dodge is Revival Studios new homebrew game for the Philips Videopac (Also known as the Magnavox Odyssey2) which offers internet ranking for the high score hunting aficionados.

The new online system which Revival Studios has developed spits out a code after each game played, which then can be uploaded to their very own AstroDodge highscore leaderboard, placing you beside some of the elite Videopac gamers.

But how do you get that high score? Well, Astro Dodge throws straight into survival mode in the hope that you can dodge as many asteroids as possible for a chance to top the leaderboard. Technically speaking Astro Dodge is a real achievement for the Videopac system once compared to the blocky games which were released in the consoles prime.
