RetroZone Releases Akumajō Special: Boku Dracula-kun (aka Kid Dracula) NES Reproduction Cartridge

RetroUSB-Releases-Akumajo-Special-Boku-Dracula-kun-aka-Kid-Dracula-NES-Reproduction-CartridgeIf there was any Japanese exclusive Nintendo Famicom title which truly deserved an English localisation, it was the one and only Akumaj? Special: Boku Dracula-kun. Some of you may know the game by it's more common nickname, Kid Dracula, however those yet to discover this hidden gem are in for a treat thanks to RetroZone's new reproduction cartridge.

Arriving as a spin-off to the Castlevania series, Kid Dracula saw two different releases on the Nintendo Famicom and Game Boy. Both of these titles took the fantastic gameplay elements of Castlevania, added a helping of cuteness and a dash of addictive gameplay.

Given the Game Boy release of Kid Dracula tends to fetch a decent sum whenever it appears on eBay, it's no surprise that the more exclusive Famicom release is often poached the minute it arrives on any sale thread. Knowing this and the fact that the storyline has remained out of reach for English readers, RetroZone has prepared an English translation of the game on a reproduction cartridge which is now available online.
