Retro Game Master GameCenter CX is a Japanese TV show starring Shinya Arino and his countless attempts to conquer retro games in one sitting. Being a comedian, Arino's attempts are often packed with humour whilst offering a great insight on our gaming history. An English subtitled GameCenter CX best of DVD is finally due for a release soon.
Despite being a Japanese exclusive TV show spanning 16 seasons, Kotaku had previously attempted to localise the series for English speaking audiences. This, however, became rather troublesome for those outside of the US due to licensing issues - leaving those wanting to enjoy Arino's antics, unable to do so.
Luckily for us though the best of DVD collection featuring 14 episodes spanning 4 discs is set to be released in September. Amazon currently has a pre-order online for those interested too. But should you still be wondering what on earth GameCenter CX is, there are plenty of episodes on YouTube with a snippet of the action shown below.
