Replay Expo 2011: Dates announced for this year's Retro Gaming Event

Replay-Expo-2011-Dates-AnnouncedIt's official! The Replay Crew have spoken and announced the dates for the upcoming retro gaming event. Set to build upon the fantastic few days in Blackpool from last year, this year's Replay Expo is one event you don't want to miss.

Despite being the first event under the Replay name, last year's Replay Expo 2010 gathered gamers from all over the nation for a two day event packed with non stop gaming and socialising. With a huge selection of freeplay arcade machines, pinball machines, game consoles, competitions, celebrities and gaming shops, there was just about something for every gamer (and non-gamer) at last years event in Blackpool.

Instead of listing the wide range of cabinets, games and machines which made an apperance, here is a video we put together showcasing the event last year.

Replay Expo 2011 is set to take place in the same location as last year on the 5th and 6th of November. Rumours are in the air that an even larger space at Norbreck Castle Hotel is to be arranged as Replay aim to become the biggest retro gaming event in the UK.

While the confirmed date is all we currently have to go on, we very much suggest you make a note in your calendar in advance. And should you need any more excuses to attend the event, you can expect to see the majority of the RetroCollect team at Replay this year. So should you feel tempted, there is currently a discussion on the RetroCollect forums for those interested in attending.

get a flight over! It's lovely and warm in November and with the combination of Blackpool being on the seafront with a lovely picturesque beach - you'll feel right at home mate :D
