Renowned Independent Title ‘Wind and Water Puzzle Battles’ Re-Released On Dreamcast

WindandWater1One of the most prolific indie titles for the Sega Dreamcast is getting a re-release - which is pretty incredible news for retro gamers who are still collecting for the console. Wind and Water Puzzle Battles is a fantastic game by Yuan Works that was featured in the 2008 Independent Video Game Festival. Its incredible gameplay and plentiful content has made it one of the more highly rated games by the Dreamcast community, and one the GP2X too where it first originated back in 2007.

Wind and Water Puzzle Battles includes story, arcade and versus modes, which altogether amount for a ton of gameplay. The game’s versus mode allows for competitive play against the computer or against a friend via local multiplayer.

All of this is amazing news especially for Dreamcast collectors who missed out on the earlier print of the independent title. As if a re-release weren’t enough, Wind and Water Puzzle Battles is listed on the Dragonbox website for the incredibly low price of $9.31. It comes with a 40 page manual and a professionally styled disc packaged in a jewel case. This re-release is just more evidence of how much the Dreamcast scene is still thriving today.
