Redspotgames Sega Dreamcast Shmup 'Sturmwind' Out Today

Redspotgames-Homebrew-Sega-Dreamcast-Shmup-Sturmwind-Out-TodayAfter a rather long wait, Sega Dreamcast fans can finally rejoice. The highly anticipated homebrew scrolling shooter from redspotgames - Sturmwind - has been released today. Those who pre-ordered this impressive shmup should be receiving their copies soon, whilst those only picking up on this new release are still in luck with copies still available.

Duranik's initial December 2011 release date may have slipped considerably, however, from what we have seen of this homebrew Sega Dreamcast shmup, we really don't mind. Video footage of the game in action has shown great promise, as have initial reactions and reports from various other websites.

To further sweeten the deal and get us anticipating this Dreamcast homebrew even more, redspotgames have also added to their online inventory a plush toy of in-game enemy, Krakor. Unfortunately this cuddlable boss doesn't come bundled with orders of the game, however, can be adopted for €25.00. Those of you who would rather invest in some 128-bit shooting action, the regular edition of Strumwind's is still available for €34.95.
