R3play's Arcade Cabinets begin to arrive in preparation for the weekend

R3playFlyerWith only a few days to go till the retro gaming event; R3play, kicks off. The event organisers have been hard at work already. Making sure the the legion of gaming addicts heading to Blackpool will have plenty to experience, the first few arcade machines have begun to arrive.

Followers of the R3play Twitter account will have already been treated to a selection of pictures and videos of the event in progress. Already from the pictures shared, we can confirm the arrival of Space Panic, Donkey Kong, Cosmic Alien, Battlezone, Astro Blaster, Star Wars, Return of the Jedi and Star Wars Trilogy Arcade.

If the arcade cabinets haven't got you excited yet, another recent arrival to the line up is the addition of a live chiptune band to play live after the event on Saturday. Stuck In D 80's aka SID 80's is made up of the Sensible Soccer developer Jon Hare, alongside Ben Daglish and Mark Knight.
