Princess-Quest-New-Homebrew-Release-For-The-MSXIf you're a fan of the arcade classic known as Ghouls 'n' Ghosts and the movie to game adaptation of The Goonies then you're in for a treat. Homebrew hero Óscar Toledo Gutiérrez has returned with his latest release for the MSX, Princess Quest.

Some may recall Óscar for his previous merits developing new software for the MSX. Zombie Near, his last release on the MSX hardware was well received and was a fantastic game to boot. Princess Quest also builds upon these good foundations and stands out as yet another smashing release for the obscure home computer system.

The aim of Princess Quest is to rescue your beloved princess from the trials and tribulations of yet another fictional castle, unsurprisingly packed to the brim with monsters.  The game features a similar weaponry system to Ghouls 'n' Ghosts, while placing in a more vertical platforming approach with countless ladders and platforms to scale.
