Portable Sega Dreamcast now in production for June release

Shinobi 3DSWhile clearly not an official release from Sega, a Japanese company has recently advertised a portable Sega Dreamcast set to hit their online shop shortly. Little is currently known about this upcoming device, however it hasn't stopped us getting our Dreamcast games at the ready.

Many skilled gamers have taken it upon themselves over the years to create their own handheld Sega Dreamcast by using a combination of a spare console and LCD screen. However until now, no company has stepped forward to create a portable version of Sega's 1999 release.

Sadly there is little information regarding the upcoming device on the product's page, so we shall sit patiently with Power Stone, Space Channel 5 and Soul Calibur beside us.

Will this thing be reliable? If it is, it won't be a Dreamcast! :P

Hmm... Multi-region? And is there a slot for the VMU? Looks a bit "dodgy" that does.
