Plug and Play Atari Flashback 3 with 60 Built In Games Announced

Plug-and-Play-Atari-Flashback-3-with-60-Built-In-Games-AnnouncedIf the Atari 2600 is your thing or you fancy indulging in the landmark console of the early 80's, stay tuned for the upcoming Atari Flashback 3. Similar to the previous plug and play devices, this new addition is set to arrive with a massive library of 60 different titles alongside two of the original iconic Atari joysticks.

The device was recently announced by ATGames who over the years have brought us the more modern versions of the Sega Mega Drive, including the handheld versions. Blaze have been confirmed as the UK distributor, hoping to put the nostalgia packed console on the shop shelves for £49.99 by October.

The plug and play console is set to ship with the following 60 classic Atari titles included:

At less than a pound per game, the Atari Flashback 3 already seems somewhat tempting. Hopefully nearer to the date we can bring you a full review of the plug and play console and detail how it compares to the original hardware.

Let's hope that it actually is an Atari 2600 emulation, unlike the original, which was reportedly a NOAC running ports of the Atari games...

Actually the Flashback 2 is actually a 2600 on a chip. :P The Flashback 1 is the only one that's an NOAC.
