Earlier this year NG:DEV.TEAM opened up a Kickstarter for their new homebrew Sega Dreamcast project, Redux: Dark Matters. This scrolling shooter far exceeded its goal by raising over double the desired amount, ensuring that the title would see development. As of today you can sample the upcoming hit by downloading a demo of the PC version.
NG:DEV.TEAM's irreplaceable René Hellwig, the genius who previously brought us homebrew Sega Dreamcast releases GunLord, Fast Striker, Last Hope and DUX, has been hard at work over the last six months. His sequel to DUX, which will also include DUX 1.5 (an updated version of the original DUX), is due for release on PSN, XBLA, Steam and iOS - and is showing a lot of promise.
To see the efforts of Redux: Dark Matters in action, head over to the official Facebook fan page to download the PC demo of the upcoming shmup.
