OutRun Confirmed As Sega's Next 3D Classic On Nintendo 3DS

3D-OutRun-Heading-To-Nintendo-3DSAfter gracefully adapting a selection of Mega Drive titles into the third dimension, it would appear Sega are ready to step up a gear and release one of their iconic racers in 3D. Now joining the likes of Streets of Rage, Ecco The Dolphin and Sonic The Hedgehog on the Nintendo 3DS is the turbocharged OutRun.

While no release date is currently known, 3D OutRun has just been confirmed by Sega's Official Japanese 3D Classics Website. Although anything is yet to be said regarding a Western release, we very much expect this title to arrive on the European and American 3DS eShops not too long after its Japanese debut.

In the meantime, if Sega's other 3D Classics aren't keeping you busy, you could always put on the Master System 3D Glasses and speed away with the equally exciting OutRun 3D.

I bought every one of the SEGA 3D Classic releases in the hope they did this and After Burner. It helps that they are really good too!
