Original Uncensored Japanese Famicom Version Of Bionic Commando Fan Translated Into English

Bionic-Commando-Famicom-TranslationFor the English localisation of Bionic Commando on the Nintendo NES, little did gamers outside of Japan know that they were in fact experiencing a different storyline from what the developers originally intended. Nintendo's censorship and family friendly approach removed all traces of Hitler and the Nazi party, renaming the dictator as Master-D and the game's evil forces as the Badds. One retro gamer, however, felt that the core of the game's story had since been lost, thus inspiring him to work on translating the original Nintendo Famicom version for all to enjoy.

The newly released fan translation patch for the Japanese version of Bionic Commando (better known as Hitler no Fukkatsu) leaves the original game intact with its controversial scenes and characters, only now offering a legible English script and the true story behind Capcom's classic.

Bionic Commando (Famicom Version) Untranslated Gameplay

As usual, to enjoy this fan translation patch you will need to have an original Bionic Commando Japanase Famicom ROM file to which you can apply this patch to. Full instructions on how to patch this ROM can be found within the download, or you can refer to this handy ROM patching guide on YouTube.
