Original 'Tomb Raider' Adventure Traverses Onto iOS Devices

Tomb-Raider-iOSIt's not just Sonic The Hedgehog that's receiving the mobile port treatment as of recent, but also many other retro heroes from our gaming past. Lara Croft is the latest adventurer to make the transition over to a touchscreen device, with the 1996 release Tomb Raider now available on the Apple App Store.

With the pocket price of £0.69/$0.99, Square Enix has generously re-released Tomb Raider on iOS with the proud statement that it is unmodified from its original form - aside from the added extra of two levels from the Unfinished Business expansion.

Although we're over the moon to know we can keep Lara in our pocket - ready and waiting for action - we're slightly hesitant knowing how difficult this title will be to control on a touchscreen. Having said that, Tomb Raider iOS is compatible with control pad add-ons for Apple devices, something we very much believe you will need for this classic adventure.
