While we're very much used to seeing prototypes of unfinished video games surfacing on eBay, the arrival of the original source code used to build a game is quite the rarity. One American eBay user, however, has listed the a floppy disk containing the source code for the unlicensed Nintendo NES title Captain Comic.
Although some would argue that the majority of Wisdom Tree and/or Color Dreams output isn't worth a single look, it's a fantastic sight to see one of the original disks used in the creation of a Nintendo NES video game up for grabs. Simply labelled up as Captain Comic Source 11/7/89, the auction description states that the disk still contains the original data, however, whether or not it differs from the 'retail' build is unknown.
The eBay user has also bundled with the floppy disk a certificate of authenticity from Wisdom Tree itself. The certificate states that the disk was officially sold from the Color Dreams archive in 1997 - one which could now be yours for $299!
