Release Date Set For Upcoming DSiWare Legend of Zelda: Four Swords

Nintendo-Set-Release-Date-For-Upcoming-DSiWare-Legend-of-Zelda-Four-SwordsDuring Nintendo's presence at E3, one of their most notable 'smaller' announcements was the upcoming arrival the DSiWare port of the Gamecube classic; The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures. Dated for release later this month, you can expect a multiplayer frenzy of red, blue, purple and green tunics.

Arriving on the 28th September in the Nintendo Shop Channel / DSi Shop, Nintendo have opted to offer this download only game for free as part of their on going 25th anniversary celebration of The Legend of Zelda series. The free download is also to be made available for both DSi and 3DS until the 20th February 2012.

If you're yet to discover this iconic spin off from the main strand of Zelda titles, Four Swords is an enjoyable take on the 16-bit era featuring a vast range of puzzles, which often require more than one Link to solve. Players can either take control of all four Links and save Hyrule alone, or enlist their friends and tackle the challenge ahead party style. Highly recommended!

Gotta say adding a single player mode makes this even better. And it's FREE! Thanks Nintendo :)
