Nintendo Reveals The Game Boy Advance Games Available To Download From The 3DS Ambassador Program

Nintendo-Reveals-The-Game-Boy-Advance-Games-Available-To-Download-From-The-3DS-Ambassador-ProgramA few months back Nintendo launched their 3DS Ambassador program allowing early adopters of the handheld to redeem a free selection of NES games. That however was only half of the deal with a selection of unconfirmed Game Boy Advance games to also be offered in the near future. That time has come revealing a jaw dropping range of GBA titles.

The Nintendo NES freebies which were made available back in September featured a selection of decent titles including the likes of Super Mario Bros, Zelda II and Metroid. That said we still felt as if Nintendo were holding back on the premium titles such as Super Mario Bros 3, which left us sceptical as to what Game Boy Advance games would be put forward in the coming months.

Nintendo however have managed to throw any weary gamers into jubilation with a selection of games that could almost be worth being part of the 'Top 10 Game Boy Advance Games Ever'. Don't believe us? Then check out the list below of the games included:

Lucky participants of the ambassador program will be able to enjoy these titles on Friday by visiting the 'Titles You've Downloaded' section of the 3DS eShop.

Yay, I'm there. I'd have preferred just a single game that could not be found anywhere else and was exclusive to the Ambassadors Programme, but at least what we are getting is some quality (even if mst of us will have all the games already as collectors)

Until reading this, i hadn't touched my 3ds in months! It's bizarre, there was no marketing splash or anything like that to suggest that i had these free downloads. But, on searching for them, i 'redownloaded' (i hadnt downloaded them before) all of them. Hey presto! 20 odd old skool favourites all in one place! A lovely xmas surprise! It's great when this happens. Over the past year i've benefited from some ace freebies from reading up on them here. That SoR game, cave story, leisure suit larry on me iphone, sonic all star racing on my laptop and now loads of stuff for my 3ds! Cheers!
