Nintendo NES Homebrew 'Sydney Hunter & The Mayan's Revenge' In Development

Sydney-Hunter-Heading-To-Nintendo-NESFlash game fanatics may already be familiar with the name Sydney Hunter, after discovering the MSX styled hero's epics on online game portals. In the near future though, Nintendo NES gamers will also be getting familiar with the Indiana Jones meets Rick Dangerous adventurer following his in-development sequel to the 8-bit console - Sydney Hunter & The Mayan's Revenge.

Collectorvision, better known for their homebrew efforts on the Colecovision, recently shared online a selection of in-action screenshots of their upcoming game. Staying true to the source material, Sydney Hunter & The Mayan's Revenge features the recognisable visual style found in the Flash game, only more adapted to feel like a Nintendo NES classic.

Instead of following the exact same format of the original Flash game, Collectorvision are instead creating a Sydney Hunter title with gameplay akin to the fondly remembered home computer release, Montezuma's Revenge. Collectorvision have stated that more updates will be released in the near future regarding this upcoming homebrew hero, along with its eventual arrival on physical Nintendo NES cartridges.
