Nintendo NES Gets Homebrew Horoscopes & Love Tests In 'Electronic Sweet-N-Fun Fortune Teller'

Electronic-Sweet-N-Fun-Fortune-Teller-Nintendo-NES-ROMPart of the charm of growing up several decades ago was allowing the surge of toys and electronic devices predict the outcome of your future. Whether it was magic 8-balls or even the Neo Geo Pocket’s horoscopes, we all wanted to know how our life would pan out and if our beloved crushes felt the same. These laughable moments are set for a return through the Nintendo NES’s latest homebrew offering, the Electronic Sweet-N-Fun Fortune Teller.

Homebrew developer and glitch artist Rachel Weil recently collated everything she knows and loves about this pastime into a fully fledged fortune teller for the 8-bit console. Allowing you to get daily horoscopes and love tests from the Nintendo NES, the Electronic Sweet-N-Fun Fortune Teller will seeming tell you everything you ever wanted to know and more - all in an iconic 80s design of yesteryear.

Released online as a digital download through the indie distribution site, those interested in finding out their future can enjoy a ROM of the Electronic Sweet-N-Fun Fortune Teller for $1.99. No official run of cartridges are available as of yet, however, the few physical copies out there created by Weil herself could end up seeing a production run.
